Grapevine, TX – February 20–22, 2026 – If you've spent any time in rheumatology, you know February means one thing: STAR. It's where healthcare professionals working across clinical research and patient care gather to share ideas, discuss challenges and learn from one another’s experiences. This year's meeting is at the Gaylord Texan Resort in Grapevine and Biopharma Informatic will be among this year’s attendees, joining peers in conversations focused on advancing patient care.
STAR brings together experts to provide Texas rheumatologists with essential resources that include advanced educational programs, access to policy updates that could impact their work and a professional network that understands the challenges of treating complex chronic illnesses.
For those of us on the research side, this matters because clinical trials don't happen in a vacuum. They succeed when there's real collaboration between sponsors, sites and the physicians who'll eventually use the therapies being studied. Meetings like STAR are often where real collaboration starts with honest and open conversations about what’s actually working, what’s falling short and what may need to change moving forward.
This year, Biopharma Informatic will be represented by:
Shuja Naqvi Chief Executive Officer
Cortney Lenz Director of Operations
Lesly Giron Site Lead
Allison Brown Business Development Associate
We're there to listen, to learn what rheumatologists need from the research community and to share what we've learned from running trials across multiple therapeutic areas.
If you're attending STAR and have questions about trials, recruitment challenges or how to bridge the gap between research goals and clinical realities, you’re welcome to connect with our team during the meeting. We'd be pleased to continue the conversation.
“Events like the STAR Annual Meeting remind us that progress in research is a shared effort,” said CEO Shuja Naqvi. He further added, “They give us a chance to close some of those loops. When professionals from different areas of research come together to exchange perspectives, it creates space for thoughtful dialogue and stronger outcomes. We look forward to being part of those discussions.”
Those interested in discussing clinical trial operations, site support or potential partnerships are encouraged to visit our team during the conference. Whether it’s a quick conversation or a more in-depth discussion, the focus will be on meaningful talk that leads to practical progress.
